Electro-Matic Products, Inc. is proud to announce that the company passed its annual ISO 9000-2008 surveillance audit. On April 13, 2011, a lead auditor from GMSR, Terry Rust, visited Electro-Matic’s facilities in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He partially reviewed the production, warehouse, design, and the iCable assembly areas. Several subjects for Continual Improvement are in project stages, including iCable QA Documentation, High Pot testing, and a rewrite of the iCable training manual. The introduction of more suitable sized product labeling was also discussed. No non-conformances were observed and no opportunities for improvement were identified during the audit. “The company continues to run a well established business,” commented Terry Rust. ISO 9000 registration gives objective proof to customers that Electro-Matic Products, Inc. has an effective quality management system and that all of the standard’s requirements are met. Electro-Matic Products has been an ISO 9000 registered company since September 1998. GMSR is scheduled to return on October 12, 2011.
